With SOLVY wash-away stabiliser film, you can make beautiful free-standing embroidered lace, as well as embroideries on thin fabrics such as organza or batiste, or thicker materials such as towels and corduroy.

Other backing materials which are normally left under the embroidery, make the fabric stiff and rough. This backing material however, can be dissolved so that it does not remain in the embroidery, giving it a softer and more beautiful result.
